City Unveils International Health Exhibition

Medical professionals and policymakers are expected to attend a hybrid (direct and virtual) international health exhibition that unveils in the next couple of weeks at Inter Luxury Hotel. Ethiopian Medical Association is hosting the event alongside its 59th annual medical conference on March 17-18, 2023. According to the Association, the event aims to provide a platform for professional networking and sharing research findings for over 2,000 professionals. The conference is expected to feature a panel discussion on the healthcare service delivery system and presentations of over 25 scientific papers, lining up the Minister of Health, Lia Tadesse (MD) and the President of the World Medical Association, Osahon Enabulele (MD), as speakers. The event aims to address the roles and responsibilities of professional associations, in modern medical practice with the opportunities and challenges. Established in 1962, the professional association is a member of the World Medical Association based in France and has published 60 volumes in medical journals.
