Enterprise Bags 131m Br in Half Year

The Ethiopian Toll Road Enterprise earned 131 million Br in revenue during the first half of the current fiscal year. The Enterprise earned the income from the four-year-old Addis Abeba-Adama Expressway, through which over four million cars have passed in the past six months. The firm also maintained four kilometres of guardrails and installed 460 road studs. The Enterprise is currently working to open up its second toll road, which runs from Dire Dawa to Dewelle, to traffic. It is also in the process of establishing a tariff for the 220Km road, setting up its branch office and installing electronic monitoring equipment.
