Agri Corp Hires Contractors for 400m Br Facility in Bonga

The Ethiopian Agricultural Businesses Corporation has hired two contractors for the construction of a 400 million Br coordinated agricultural input and mechanisation centre in Bonga, South Western Regional State. Desalegn Building Contractor is to be paid 195 million Br to erect warehouses and storage facilities. Merab Construction is contracted to build a five-storey building on the premises for 154 million Br. The contractors are expected to finalise the work within a 14 months. The facility, which is to rest on 2.1ht, will serve as a seed production site with the capacity to process 150,000qtl of seeds annually. Its warehouses will be able to store up to 120,000qtl of agricultural inputs.
