November Export Revenues Ring In at $334m

Export revenues for last November registered at 333.9 million dollars. The figure is less than 0.05pc from the plan officials at the Ministry of Trade & Regional Integration has set and nearly 43pc higher than revenues recorded over the same period last year. Coffee remains the country's top export item, accounting for over 50.1 million dollars in revenues. While agricultural products dominate the list of export items, officials at the Ministry say textiles and electricity have also shown encouraging performances in the export market this year. Manufacturing exports have also been high, bringing in over 203 million dollars in the first five months of the fiscal year.
