The country generated 311.5 million dollars from exports last month, according to the Ministry of Trade & Regional Integration. The figure is less than 87pc of the Ministry's target for the period. Agricultural products, including coffee, khat, and horticulture, account for the bulk of the revenues at 206 million dollars. The industrial sector brought in 39.6 million dollars while mining, mostly gold, generated revenues of 58.5 million dollars. The remaining 7.5 million dollars was collected from the export of electricity and other products. The Ministry targets revenues of 1.4 billion dollars between October and January.
