It is not surprising to see street signs misused in Addis Abeba, which is one of the reasons that contribute to the unruly behaviour of drivers and the subsequent accidents. This stop sign is an example, which is not facing either side of the road. Worse still, it is mostly out of view by the surrounding makeshift structure.

Urban Sanitation Oversight Secured with 110M Br Government Contract

The Ministry of Water & Energy has signed a contract valued at over 110 million Br to oversee urban sanitation initiatives under the Water Development Fund's program.
