Abera Hailemariam, acting director of Coalition of Ethiopian Civil Society Organisations for Election, and his team gave a press briefing on polling day at Golden Tulip Hotel on June 18, 2021. The briefing was on observation duty on the election, which takes place tomorrow, where the Coalition aims to send between 1,500 and 2,000 observers at polling stations in different parts of the country. The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) has accredited 45,000 domestic observers, roughly the number of polling stations.
