Jazeera Airways, a Kuwaiti carrier, has launched a twice-weekly flight service between Addis Abeba and Kuwait. The service was launched early last week on Tuesday, March 16. The new route will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays with flight J9781 departing Kuwait in the morning and arriving at Bole International Airport in the early afternoon. The return flight, J9782, will take off shortly thereafter and arrive in Kuwait in the early evening. "There is a significant Ethiopian expatriate population living in Kuwait and across the region," said Rohit Ramachandran, CEO of Jazeera Airways. "Opening this new route will provide them with a great value option.” This is the airline's second new destination so far this year. It announced flight services to Colombo, Sri Lanka, last month.
