Ethio Lease Delivers Hospital Equipment

Ethio Lease, the sixth lease financing company in the country, has delivered a high-tech CT scanner to Alatyon Hospital in Hawassa. The equipment comes with a full-service warranty that covers spare parts and maintenance. The handover ceremony was attended by Girum Tsegaye, Ethio Lease CEO, and Lia Tadesse (MD), minister of Health. The private sector can play a major role in improving the health sector in the country, and this is part of the government's 10-year development plan, according to Lia. Ethio Lease is a subsidiary of Africa Asset Finance Company Inc., which provides leasing and asset-based lending to businesses across Africa. It is the first private and foreign-owned equipment leasing company in the country to be licensed by the National Bank of Ethiopia. To date, the company has signed leasing agreements with more than 100 customers for more than 200 equipment units of various types worth over 900 million Br.
