Melaku Alebel, minister of Trade & Industry, visited one of the stands hosting a maker of traditional clothes at the first edition exhibition of the national small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises on December 30, 2020. Asfaw Abebe, director of the Federal Small & Medium Manufacturing Industry Promotion Agency, who also attended the exhibition, explained that part of the exhibition’s purpose was the strengthening of national capacity for the African Continental Free Trade Area, which commenced trading on January 1, 2020.
