The Maastricht School of Management (MSM), one of the oldest business schools in the Netherlands, has donated six vehicles to the Federal Technical, Vocational Education & Training Institute. Valued at 550,000 euros in total, the vehicles were donated to four TVET schools, two each from the Oromia and Amhara regional states, and the Institute will use the remaining two. The donation comes as part of the Bright Future in Agriculture Programme in place between the Netherlands and Ethiopian governments. The Programme is aimed at providing employment opportunities for graduates of agricultural and polytechnic schools in the country. It is also geared toward providing training and improving the agricultural sector's productivity and quality. The vehicles are hoped to help graduates from these institutes find work and employment opportunities, particularly in the fresh produce and dairy industries. The Bright Future in Agriculture Programme was established over a year ago with more than 2.7 million euros in funding.
