Ethiopian Adds Two Aircraft to Fleet

The Ethiopian Airlines Group has added two brand new aircraft to its fleet. Along with the reception of the two A-350 aircraft with a new business class seating configuration of 1-2-1, the airline has also donated humanitarian medical equipment brought onboard the new aircraft to the Ministry of Health. The handover ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services. The Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services, the largest cargo network operator in Africa, also announced its readiness for the distribution of a potential COVID-19 vaccine across Africa and the rest of the world through its Ethiopian Pharma Wing last week. Ethiopian Airlines Group commands the lion’s share of the Pan-African passenger and cargo network and operates its fleet to 127 international passenger and cargo destinations across five continents. Ethiopian's fleet includes aircraft such as the Airbus A350, Boeing 787-8, Boeing 787-9, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 777-200LR, Boeing 777-200 Freighter, and Bombardier Q-400 double cabin with an average fleet age of five years.
