East Africa Bottling Donates 1.8m Br to Muday

East Africa Bottling S.C., a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages, donated 1.8 million Br to Muday Charity Association, a nonprofit organisation that supports close to 740 vulnerable women and children. The bottling company donated the money to Muday, which had been struggling to serve the needs of the sheltered people due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). The donation came at the right time as the organisation is struggling financially, according to Elsabet Berhane, deputy director of Muday, which was established eight years ago. East Africa Bottling, a sister company of Ambo Mineral Water S.C., also gave financial and material donations worth 13 million Br to the Ethiopian Red Cross Society and 10 cities in the country for support in curbing the pandemic. Ambo Mineral Water S.C., currently engaged in mass production of hand sanitiser, has also donated 30,000lt for free to date.
