Road reconstruction in the Amist Kilo area mingles with bustling activity as commuters find their way around the disturbance. Public transport systems and citizens are having to become accustomed to temporary and wide-ranging disturbances required for the uplifting of transport and communication infrastructure in Addis Abeba under the purview of corridor development projects. Road widening projects are crucial for accommodating increasing traffic, improving transportation efficiency, and supporting economic growth. Their adverse effects, however, would appreciate more planning.
