United Beverages Introduces New 'Waliin' Brand

United Beverages S.C., producer of Anbessa Beer, last week introduced a new brand dubbed Waliin, targeting customers in Oromia Regional State. Established with a capital of 88 million euros in 2016 by the Mauritius-based United Africa Beverages and Kangaroo Plast Plc, which is owned by Yirga Haile and family, the company has been producing only one brand, Anbessa Beer. After finishing the expansion programme, the company doubled its production capacity and began production of Waliin Beer. Waliin translates to ‘togetherness’ in Oromiffa. The company's bottling plant sits on 25ht of land in Modjo.
