The Leghar compound that used to house the offices of the Ethio-Djibouti Railway company has now turned into a graveyard for old locomotives. The site has been handed over to the Eagle Hills Development Project that is expected to turn the area into high-end apartments and shopping complexes. One can only hope there is a plan to collect these neglected locomotives and preserve some corner of the historical site as a museum.
