Nib International Bank launched two new digital products, Nib Amber Pay and Nib PayStream, seeking to streamline transactions. The former enables business clients to easily and securely receive payments from their customers, providing a way for them to monitor their business activities via their mobile phones. The Bank asserts it is fully compliant with the National Bank of Ethiopia's directive for a unified QR code system, allowing service providers to accept payments from any bank's customers. In addition to offering four methods for merchants to receive payments, the Nib Amber Pay application supports businesses with multiple sales employees by allowing them to accept payments into a single fund via a mobile application. Nib PayStream is designed to facilitate online transactions, allowing merchants to receive payments online for their services, and enabling bank customers to make payments for online services.
