Ministry Eyes Partnership with Microsoft

With hopes of partnering to leverage technology and boost innovation in Ethiopia, officials from the Ministry of Innovation & Technology had a discussion with senior executives of Microsoft on capacity building of artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives, digital infrastructure governance and cybersecurity. The meeting between Minister Belete Molla (PhD) and the Microsoft team including Kate Behncken, vice president of its Philanthropies was held at the headquarters of Microsoft's office in New York City, United States. Belete expressed his excitement over Ethiopia's inclusion in Microsoft's new 'Digital Development Program'.
