An outdoor Khat market around the Sebeta area comes to life at noon. Khat has been the third foreign currency earner with a significant drop to nearly half the amount the previous year, 31,382tn for around 246 million dollars. It has prompted the Ministry of Regional Trade & Integration to reevaluate its export permit issuance and registration modalities.
