Exports Generate $190.7m in November

The Ministry of Trade & Industry announced that exports generated a total of 190.7 million dollars in November, achieving 66pc of the target. In the reported period, the Ministry targeted the export of commodities from the agriculture, manufacturing and mining sectors to generate 289.2 million dollars. Compared to the same period last year, the value has declined, however, the export of flowers and electricity were above the target. In the last fiscal year, the export of goods and services generated 7.7 billion dollars. The export of goods registered a 6.8pc decline to 2.7 billion dollars from 2.9 billion dollars in revenue generated the previous year.
