Employer, Labor Confederations Join Force

The Ethiopian Employer Confederation and the Ethiopian Confederation of Trade Unions (CETU) signed a bipartite agreement to work jointly. The agreement was signed by Getahun Husen, president of the Employers Confederation, and Kassahun Follo, president of CETU. The agreement aims to upgrade social and economic development, to create a stable work environment and to create a suitable employer and employee platform between the employer and employee, according to the leaders of the confederations. While CETU is established to safeguard the right of the employee, the Employers Confederation stands and advocates for the right of employers. “We will work together to create a platform for employees and employers,” said Kasahun.
