Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) is getting a new headquarters with an investment of 2.4 billion Br. Located around Mexico Square, the construction of the 38-storey headquarters building was kicked off last week by the Chinese firm CGCOC under the supervision of MH Engineering. “We’ve been paying huge money for rent,” said Abraham Belay (PhD), CEO of EEP. “Beyond cutting the expenses of the company, the building will improve the services of EEP.” EEP will finance the cost of the building.
