Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa stroll into the AU summit with their entourage. The South African leader came into prominence for his key role in the final negotiations that were to end Apartheid rule after 46 years. This year's AU summit hosted the Prime Minister of Palestine Mohammed Shttayeh who suggested that Israeli occupation transgresses human rights daily under an "Apartheid policy".
