An extension to Friendship Park, which hosts some lavish events such as the launching ceremony of Telebirr, is currently being built. Some of the greenery is already being put in place, such as these seedlings that at the moment need support from sticks. The Park is part of the Sheger Beautification project to clean rivers, expand public spaces in Addis Abeba and make the city greener.
