Brewery Launches Livelihood Improvement Projects

Around 75,000 individuals in Addis Abeba City and Oromia Regional State will benefit from a 25 million Br skills training program aimed at economic empowerment. Heineken Ethiopia partnered with MahberHiwot for Social Development (MSD) to launch this livelihood improvement project last week. The project focuses on sectors like cattle rearing, dairy farming, poultry, animal fattening, and small-scale businesses. Beginning next month, eligible households in Qaliti District and Sheggar City will receive tailored interventions based on criteria like income, family size, and asset value to foster sustainable income.
