It is usual to see horses standing in the middle of highways and roads. The horses are abandoned as they outlive their use due to disease in the eyes of their owners, who promptly leave them to fend for themselves on the streets. It is an unfortunate sight to behold for animals that spend their lives at work only to be cast aside so unceremoniously.
