The National Educational Assessment and Examinations Agency, the government agency responsible for conducting the Ethiopian national exam for grade 10 known as the General School Leaving Certificate Examination, announced the results for the 2019 examinations this week. A large number of students are lined up at the Agency’s office to request a rechecking of their results, because they feel there might be a mistake in the correction process. Though this right for review is a regular procedure, there have been more complaints this time than in recent years.
