Property Disposal Generates 32.7m Br

The Public Procurement & Property Disposal Service (PPPDS) generated 32.7 million Br in revenues from the disposal of used items in the past six months. Tsewaye Muluneh, director-general of the Service, reported the performance of the first half of this fiscal year. In the reported period, the Service disposed of the products under 594 lots from 31 public offices. The revenues were generated from the disposal of vehicles that are out of use, scrap metals and different outdated items from public offices. Disposal of 65 broken down cars generated 28.6 million Br, while scrap metals and outdated products generated 2.6 million Br and 1.4 million Br, respectively.
