An outdoor street market scene around Stadium where various second-hand clothing items are laid out on the ground along a sidewalk for sale. Street side markets are becoming less prevalent with authorities keen on formalising the trade. A recent study by the Ethiopian Textile and Garment Manufacturers Association (ETGAMA) reveals that second-hand garments, commonly referred to as ‘bonda’, now make up 53pc of Ethiopia’s garment market.
