Former Ethiotel Chief Shifts to South Sudan

Andualem Admase (PhD) has been appointed as the new Chief of South Sudan Tele-Mobile (TMSS). The new appointment comes a month after TMSS signed a strategic partnership agreement with Ethiotelecom. The deal allows the two firms to work in international internet gateways, telecom infrastructure and services. TMSS is the fourth largest telecom company in South Sudan, following MTN, Zain and Digitel. The owner of TMSS, Aysheshim Teka, said the company aspires to expand its services in South Sudan's telecom market. Aysheshim, who has spent the last 15 years residing in Juba, South Sudan, is engaged in various business ventures.
