This construction site in Kazanchis, within walking distance from Jupiter and Radisson Blu hotels, is illustrative of the construction industry in Ethiopia. In the centre is a building at the early stages of its construction, only with its foundation completed. But it has been delayed for so long afterwards that weeds are growing around it. To its right are buildings in their finishing stages. The scene is rounded off by a building that was lucky enough to have been completed.
