Habesha Beer, Bunna Sport Club Renew Contract

Habesha Beer S.C. has inked a 28.25-million-Br one-year sponsorship agreement with Bunna Sport Club as of last week. The brewer has been in partnership with the Club for the last eight years. Habesha Beer will inject 18 million Br directly into the club and 500,000 Br into each of the annual four events the Club organises. For this contract year's Bunna Family Running, an annual event organised by Bunna Sport Club, the brewer will finance the event for 3.8 million Br and spent 4.5 million Br on t-shirts for supporters. If Bunna Sport Club wins the Ethiopian Premier League, the brewer will award it with 2.7 million Br. Launched five years ago with 8,000 shareholders, Habesha Beer S.C. launched its first non-alcoholic beverage, Niguss Malt, two weeks ago. Brewed in its Debre Birhan brewing factory, it came out with a new product line dubbed Kidame Beer.

Cabinet Approves Public Service Legislation
