Local Firm Sets up Data Centre for SMEs

Ebiz Online Solutions Plc, in collaboration with the Addis Abeba Jobs Creation & Enterprise Development Bureau, has set up an information centre for micro- and small enterprises. The data centre, fully supported by information technology, has been operating for months under the name Kefeta. Aimed at helping smaller enterprises in Addis Abeba, the centre will make it easier for them to succeed in their business by making market information accessible and creating linkages. It is believed that the centre, which has a website, an android mobile app and a call centre, will contribute to creating more jobs in the city. Kefeta includes information related to enterprise, important phone numbers, a variety of business information and advice, as well as networking opportunities with volunteer business consultants. It also provides price packages for small enterprises to advertise their services online and create market links as well as all the tenders available in the country at a discounted rate through its website and mobile app.
