City Inaugurates Qality Bus Depot

The Qality Bus Depot, built for 790 million Br, was inaugurated on May 16, 2020, in the presence of Deputy Mayor Takele Uma. Qality Bus Depot, which rests on five hectares, has a garage, washing and fuel supply facilities, and an administration building. With 12 vehicle washrooms and four gas stations, the Depot can accommodate 250 to 300 buses on its ground-level floor and 85 buses on the underground floor. It is also fitted with security cameras along with a dispatch service centre. The Depot will be providing service to the 3,000 buses the Administration plans to buy. The Administration has additionally secured two hectares of land adjacent to the Depot for its expansion. The deputy mayor, in his speech at the inauguration, cited the Depot and Sheger Bakery as examples of projects focusing on benefiting middle and low-income citizens.
