The head of the Oromia Cooperative Promotion Agency, Dagnachew Shiferaw, has been appointed to run a federal agency in charge of a leather institute, replacing Bogale Feleqe.
The new Director General of the Leather Industry Development Institute will assume his new role on May 21, 2019.
The former boss has served the Institute for half a year and now moves to the Oromia Regional State to serve as deputy commissioner of the region's Disaster Risk Management Commission.
Bogale was a State Minister for Trade & Industry in charge of textile and leather industries. He had replaced Wendu Legesse, the long-serving head who resigned to join the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
